For several years now, I have lived my faith by these words. I have found that I do have kindness, sympathy, humility, forgiveness, understanding and many more traits I never knew I had until I was touched by God. It didn’t come as a gift or a promotion in my job, but rather as a massive stroke that brought me back to reality as to who I really was and it was then I found me --- the person I really had always been.

Becoming a part of the Eastern Star has just reinforced my character traits in ways to face the challenges of each day. I truly believe that I am preparing myself for greater blessings that are sure to come as I serve this year as Conductress of our chapter.
