Kneeling
before the open Bible in Eastern
Star stirs my heart. In those
moments of commitment, I often
feel cold chills as I say the
words of prayer for I know He is
close at hand just as He is
every day, every minute, every
second, if you are willing to
let him be there.
We live in a fast-paced world.
Pressure and demands plot
against us to cause defeat. For
myself, through the Eastern
Star, I have found comfort,
friendship, and an organization
that reaches out to those in
need. That is why I know that
God is close by all the time. I
thank the members of My Old
Kentucky Home Chapter 436 for
the privilege of serving this
year once again as Chaplain.
